Shoreditch House, London

The small tub chairs we made for the Private Dining room and Tin Rooms were so successful that we added the design to our standard collection as the Petworth Chair.

In June 2007 Soho House took over an old tea factory to create their East London outpost, Shoreditch House.  The house has been a great success since it first opened and has been the location of many a launch party, post-premier event as well as providing members and guests with countless memorable nights.

Working with the designer, Tom Dixon, and the in-house design team at Soho House, George Smith produced a wide variety of sofas, chairs and stools to furnish this exclusive yet accessible club.  Most of the larger pieces were delivered in sections to get around the space restrictions of the stairwells and lifts leading up to the club.
