The Art of Traditional Upholstery

Over the past few weeks in lockdown, we have been hosting Zoom presentations on the Art of Traditional Upholstery. Genni Trickett, our Export Manager, has introduced attendees to the origins of Upholstery and George Smith itself.

Due to the popularity of these presentations, we are delighted to announce two further dates for the diary. Upcoming dates now are:

• Friday 8 May at 10:30am BST
• Wednesday 13 May at 2:30pm BST
• Friday 22 May at 10:30am BST

The presentation goes into detail about how we make our furniture using highly skilled techniques and quality practices. From all the materials we use and why we use them, to vegan alternatives and outdoor modifications. Finally you’ll get a glimpse of some of the amazing projects we have been delighted to be a part of over the years!

Registration will close 30 minutes before the start time. Genni will send round the Zoom link before the presentation is due to start.

“We thoroughly enjoyed your upholstery presentation today. I think it would enhance our presentations to our clients that are considering George Smith furnishings in their projects.” – Raven Vanguard

“We’ve just enjoyed learning about the art of traditional upholstery with Genevieve, really interesting and didn’t know there was a vegan sofa option!” – SGS Architectural Interiors

We look forward to seeing you there!
