It’s all in the name! «Beau Site» means “the beautiful site”, and the name doesn’t lie - the stunning hillside location offers a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn in Zermatt. The interiors were designed by Atelier Zürich, and Claudia the team carefully integrated custom-made furniture into the beautiful scheme to create a heart-warming ambiance.

The recent transformations were orchestrated by the renowned interior design firm, Atelier Zürich. Leading the charge was Claudia Silberschmidt, the exceptionally talented creative head of Atelier Zürich, who is driven by a passion for craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Alongside her team, she develops concepts for her clients that are distinctively stylish and characterised by their depth, the unexpected, and a good pinch of humour.
"The natural environment is reflected in the colour scheme of the guest rooms. The predominant colours are green-grey glacier-water tones, dark fir green and golden hues, which are reminiscent of the Belle Époch and the golden age of alpinism."

Drawing inspiration from nature, the colour and material scheme embodies the essence of the natural environment. The freshly refurbished rooms and suites are designed in warm colours, with detailed fabrics and a British flair that harks back to the Swiss golden age of alpinism. The reception and lobby are bathed in tones of deep fir green and invigorating ice water. The carefully selected monochromatic nuances, inspired by the outdoor surroundings, are combined with high-quality textiles and furniture to create a balanced interior and cosy atmosphere.
