Meet urban senior living on a luxury level. Inside this elegant 23-story architectural masterpiece on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Inspīr Carnegie Hill has elevated senior living in every sense.
We are delighted to announce that Inspir Carnegie Hill has been named a category winner in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) 2021 Healthcare Awards for Extended Care & Assisted Living Facilities | Long-term Care.
Inspīr Carnegie Hill is a luxury senior residence, developed by parent company Maplewood Senior Living and Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc., and designed by Handel Architects. The building draws from the energy and culture of the surrounding city, whilst simultaneously taking inspiration from nature.
To make these dreams a reality, George Smith partnered with Inspīr Carnegie Hill. The overall traditional aesthetic of the furniture, combined with the selection of luxurious natural fabrics, personifies the warmth of a welcoming private residence.
Inspīr Carnegie HillEach piece of furniture has been customised to suit the unique comfort requirements of the Inspīr residents. Specific adjustments were made in order to increase mobility and comfort for all.
This includes seat depth, height, and pitch. Arm heights have been adjusted, castors removed from the front legs, and tufting and custom buttons have been added. The pieces are even waterproofed.
Inspīr x George SmithRaised up high on the 17th floor and facing the East River, Onyx Bistro has incredible views of the city. A casual dining area on the Sky Park floor, featuring comfortable and supportive bespoke dining chairs.
On the ground floor, the open kitchen in 1802 permits residents to sit either at a table in the dining room or sit at the counter to watch the culinary teamwork. Bespoke winged armchairs with delicate, fluted fixed back seats and decorative brass nail head details, fill the dining room floor. A fluted u-shaped banquette, together with elegant timber-arm carver dining chairs, envelops the feature atrium in the rear dining area.
