Georgie Pearman, who together with her husband Sam founded the Country Creatures collection of hotels, has a burning talent for creating beautiful hotels that are carefully designed to feel comfortable and relaxed, yet unfalteringly special.

In what has now become her signature style, Georgie has overseen the year-long restoration and renovation of The Double Red Duke including extensive works to restore original features, tirelessly seeking individual and bespoke pieces from British artisans and craftspeople as well as one-off finds from flea markets and antique dealers, The Double Red Duke will bring together old-world heritage with contemporary luxury touches.

The Garden Room

The breathtaking 40-cover Garden Room at The Double Red Duke is wrapped in jasmine and greenery, blurring the lines between indoors and out, creating a dining experience that feels both intimate and open.

At the heart of the space are two bespoke L-shaped armless banquettes, and alongside them, made-to-measure Fairhill sofas provide a sense of softness and refinement, perfectly tailored to fit the exact proportions of the room.
