“I raised the fireplace in this drawing room so that one could see the fire while sitting on the sofa & so a bench could be built for sitting on as well as storing the logs underneath it. It’s a room full of rich colour, strong art & mixed materials so it needs a good fire!” Charlotte Crosland.
