All George Smith frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 25 years from the original date of manufacture, and are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for a period of 2 years from the delivery date. George Smith warrants that the products will comply with applicable UK and EU product safety legislation, and they will be of satisfactory quality, and match their specification, description and any samples provided. George Smith cannot be held responsible for any problem associated with wear and tear, or fading of customers own material.
Any delivery date quoted is an estimate, and while we will strive to achieve each and every delivery date, it shall not be legally binding on George Smith. Title and risk of the goods shall only pass to you the Customer on delivery. If the Customer does not accept delivery on the delivery date agreed, then George Smith may place your pieces in storage, and charge you the costs of storage. The Customer shall inspect the pieces as soon as possible after delivery, and shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods, if they have not notified George Smith of any defect in the pieces within five working days of delivery.

The fixed seat has been upholstered with cone springs, hand tied together 8-ways with string, then topped with horse hair and cotton felt for comfort. The turned legs are stained in our Standard Walnut finish with Antique Brass castors. The stitching is self piped with 10mm French Natural nailhead detailing along the full length of the outside back and arms.
