Warranty & Delivery

Warranty

All George Smith frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 25 years from the original date of manufacture, and are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for a period of 2 years from the delivery date. George Smith warrants that the products will comply with applicable UK and EU product safety legislation, and they will be of satisfactory quality, and match their specification, description and any samples provided. George Smith cannot be held responsible for any problem associated with wear and tear, or fading of customers own material.

Delivery

Any delivery date quoted is an estimate, and while we will strive to achieve each and every delivery date, it shall not be legally binding on George Smith. Title and risk of the goods shall only pass to you the Customer on delivery. If the Customer does not accept delivery on the delivery date agreed, then George Smith may place your pieces in storage, and charge you the costs of storage. The Customer shall inspect the pieces as soon as possible after delivery, and shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods, if they have not notified George Smith of any defect in the pieces within five working days of delivery.

    A reincarnation of an original George Smith design, the Rose sofa has deep seats and sumptuous feather and down-filled seat cushions. Generously proportioned, the soft, sprung, high top arms create an immersive experience to really settle into. 

     

    The Rose features a fixed double cone spring system for the back and under the seat cushions, upholstered with hessian, horsehair and needled cotton, with an interliner keeping it all in place under the fabric. The sprung back has extra padding, creating a sumptuous sit without the need to plump the cushions after.

     

    The Rose is a celebration of comfort, designed around the pleasures of relaxed living. From quiet afternoons with a book to evenings spent entertaining family and friends, its generous proportions make it a natural place to gather, unwind and linger.
