This dining chair has been designed to curve to the shape of the user's back, providing optimum support all around. It is also an excellent example of refining the arm rest to slope towards back and supplying the angles to help when pushing up.
This chair was designed for afternoon tea at Auriens, Chelsea. During the prototype review, castors were added to the front legs to allow the chair to move more easily, and the arm shape was adjusted so that it was in a better position for the user to push off the chair when standing up.
With a swooping wing back, this bespoke chair was created for Auriens, Chelsea with a tailored seat height, narrow arm rests, and structural back for optimum support.
